In this day and age, most web experiences are not complete if you do not have flash enabled - whereas in prior years flash was only used (overused, actually) on the websites of kids with nothing better to do than create huge flash intros, it is now a widely adopted and integral part of the overall web experience.

I've visited several sites on my G1 and been disappointed, because I see the icon that indicates flash is required for the page, or because youtube on the web states that I need to have flash enabled (yes, I know there is a youtube app, but why not look at it on the web also?) This also gives the G1 a leg up on the still flashless iPhone. My only concerns, though major ones, are memory and battery life. Given the horrible battery life the G1 currently sports, I am wondering if flash support will sap it any further. I guess time will tell.
