I never had any problems at all with my dash, reception wise. The signal was always clear, I never dropped calls and always had a decent signal strength regardless of where I was located. My G1, however, is a totally different story. To date, it's never dropped a call, but the signal fades a lot. I feel like the Verizon guy because I am always saying, "Hello? Can you hear me now?" I think people have dropped the call, when in actuality they haven't - the signal just faded really badly. I've tried both 2g and 3g, and they both function about the same whether I am in a 3g area or not. Has anyone else experienced this?
